The Lakes of Valparaiso is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Lake or Porter County. This position will be responsible in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance and operational standards established by the company.
Responsibilities include: Responding quickly and courteously to resident requests for maintenance service, cleaning, troubleshooting the source and taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established for the community. Standby hours and some weekends are required. This Candidate must live within 20 minutes of property for standby relief. The qualified candidate must pass a maintenance test.
Requirements
We would prefer the applicant to have at least two years of experience in maintenance in the multifamily or hotel industry.
This position requires extensive experience in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, pool, snow removal, grounds keeping and make readies.
Prefer the following qualifications however, not required:
- CPO Certification
- EPA Certification
Must thrive in a team-oriented, fast pasted environment and have professional, hardworking attitude.
Must have an upbeat, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
