The Duneland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Celebration for The Conduit Recovery Community Center at 4:00 pm this Friday, April 11. The Conduit – the new center created by Frontline Foundations, Inc. – is located at 1008 Broadway in Chesterton, Indiana.
The Chamber’s event this Friday will be part of Frontline Foundation’s Open House, which will be held from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Visitors will enjoy live music, light hors d-oeuvres, and the opportunity to explore Frontline’s completed remodeling project, as well as The Conduit.
The Conduit is a visual and performing arts venue for young adults in recovery. The environment was created to give the recovery community a venue for live music through artistic talent and expression. The Center is a the realization of the next step in Frontline Foundation’s stated mission to “serve as a source of hope to young men and women ages 18-39 suffering from alcohol and drug abuse, while also providing an effective treatment and recovery system.”
