Chamber Event Built for Speed

dunesDuneland Chamber of Commerce to hold a morning speed networking event at Third Coast Spice Café in Chesterton on Tuesday, January 14 from 7:30 am – 9:00 am. There is no cost to attend.

Speed Networking will be the format of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce's Dawn of Duneland morning event at Third Coast Spice Café on Tuesday, January 14. From 7:30 am – 9:00 am, Chamber members and their guests will introduce themselves and their businesses to other event attendees in timed, one-on-one conversations. In each pairing, members will discover ways in which they can grow their own (and others') organizations through previously untapped avenues. There is no cost to attend the event, and breakfast may be purchased if desired.

Dawn of Duneland, previously a monthly event, was restructured for 2014 into a quarterly speed networking event. "With the growing popularity of our other morning event – the Sunrise Seminar held the first Thursday of every month at Riley's Railhouse – we determined that it would be more fruitful to move Dawn of Duneland to a quarterly gathering," says Heather Ennis, the Chamber's executive director. "We're always looking for ways to make our event calendar stronger and more conducive to the needs of our members."
