Craig O'Hair, Salesperson for Thomas Kia in Highland, has been in the car business for over 25 years. And for the past year, the veteran salesperson has been bringing his experience and expertise to the long-standing dealership.
Born in Chesterton, Indiana, O'Hair has lived in the region all of his life. He got his start in the car business at another dealership over 25 years ago, where he worked with some familiar and friendly faces.
“Before I began working here at Thomas KIA last year, I actually worked with Tom Seely, who’s our General Manager here at KIA, for those 25 years and he’s always been great to work with,” he said.
Thomas KIA of Highland is Indiana’s longest running KIA dealership and boasts the highest number of vehicles in its inventory. So for a dealership that’s been around as long as Thomas KIA, it only makes sense that the best people, like O'Hair, are going to be a part of its team.
“My usual day is selling cars to clients in search of a quality vehicle,” O'Hair said. “I help customers out in their search and show them cars that are going to match their needs.”
Quality customer service is vital to the success of any company. This means providing quality care and products to everyone who walks in through the door, but also making sure every guest feels at home and part of the tight-knit family.
“One of my favorite things about this company is the atmosphere,” O'Hair said. “It’s friendly and laid-back and everyone works to make it a comfortable environment, which I think customers can definitely feel.”
When O'Hair isn’t hard at work finding the perfect car for clients, he and his wife of 26 years are working with their local church and kids in the community.
“My wife and I drive a church bus every Sunday,” O'Hair said. “We pick up kids around our community for Sunday school, which is something we have done for about 25 years now.”
For his more adventurous side, however, O'Hair loves to mountain climb every chance he gets.
“It’s something I was introduced to by some friends 15 years ago and I’ve been doing it ever since.”
Craig O'Hair has been a dedicated salesperson for all of Northwest Indiana, bring his experience and expertise wherever he goes.
