Festival of the Lakes Attendees Have Chance at Back Stage Passes

Festival-of-the-LakesSouth Shore CVA, City of Hammond to collect surveys for chance to win

The City of Hammond and the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority will be collecting surveys during the city’s annual Festival of the Lakes Wednesday, July 17, through Sunday, July 21. Attendees who participate in the survey will be entered to win a VIP pass during that night’s entertainment.

The survey will be used to assist the City of Hammond with future planning of Festival of the Lakes. It will contain 12 questions including questions on how far the attendee traveled for the festival and how they perceived the festival’s entertainment.

According to Speros A. Batistatos, President and CEO of the South Shore CVA, the information will help the City of Hammond to make better decisions regarding allocation of sponsorships, advertisement and how funds are spent on musical entertainment.

When an attendee submits a survey, they will have an opportunity to win a special VIP backstage pass that will allow them to meet that night’s entertainment as well as receive free beverages.

Festival of the Lakes live entertainment includes Nicole Jamrose and Smokey Robinson on Wednesday, July 17; Evolution (a Journey tribute band) and Bruce in the USA (a tribute band for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band) on Thursday, July 18; the Crawpuppies, Better Than Ezra and Lifehouse on Friday, July 19; Pro Letarians, Rakim and LL Cool J on Saturday, July 20; and the Jesus Enriquez Orchestra and La Original Banda El Limon on Sunday, July 21.
